Moringa Tree

Moringa Tree

Although not native native to Africa, Moringa oleifera is now grown in many parts of Africa and the world to combat malnutrition, especially among infants and nursing mothers and for medicinal purposes. Edible parts of the plant include the whole leaves (leaflets, stalks and stems); the immature, green fruits or seed pods; the fragrant flowers; and the young seeds and roots.
